| Bill Cara's Blog for Oct 13, 2011 Posted: 13 Oct 2011 04:00 AM PDT CTA Trading Desk Morning Report In yesterday's morning notes, I mentioned that it was prudent to take some gains off of the table based on the recent market strength. We ended up selling 15 stocks. 13 of those stocks we simply took the weighting down, 2 of the stocks we sold out of the entire position. Fortunately, we are charged commissions that are absurdly low (some trades only cost the client $0.01, some larger trades were a few dollars) so we don't have to worry about that being a drag on performance. |
