| Bill Cara's Week in Review #24, 2012 Posted: 10 Jun 2012 10:31 AM PDT [1:50 pm ET] Two weeks ago, I remarked in this space: "I have a sense that big changes are in store for capital markets". The following week, the S&P 500 index plunged -3.02%. But this week the S&P index soared +3.73% and all 30 stocks in the Dow Industrials index made gains on the week compared to only two the week before. Talk about a turnaround. The Dow 30's biggest loser had a gain of +1.20% this week while the biggest gainer the week before was up just +0.77%. |
