Many international equity markets are closed for Easter Monday. The ones that are open so far are mostly down. But precious metals futures, led by an explosive start to the week in Silver, along with US equity futures, are strong this morning. Already the headlines are attributing the bullishness to the raft of positive earnings reports, and to the upcoming Department of Commerce estimate of US Q1 GDP, which of course is also expected (by consensus anyway) to be strong.
