| Bill Cara's Blog for Oct 17, 2011 Posted: 17 Oct 2011 04:00 AM PDT CTA Trading Desk Morning Report A few moments ago, Bloomberg reported that the chief spokesperson for German leader Merkel "said European Union leaders won't provide the complete fix to the euro-area debt crisis that global policy makers are pushing for at an Oct. 23 summit". The DAX dropped almost -1.5% in minutes. The French and German banks went from positive to negative.
